Lotus Healthcare Pte Ltd is a major player in the China pain medication market. For more than 20 years the Lotus Healthcare Group has successfully introduced opiate analgesic medicines and novel generic pharmaceutical products into the China market. A private company, the investors are an Anglo-US group of former Johnson and Johnson pharmaceutical executives with a vast China investment and operational management experience. The mission was to bring modern pain relief the people of China in a segment of the pharmaceutical market previously underserved.
Our People
Phil Blackshaw, Aidan Walsh and Dick Hopkins are three of the founding shareholders of Lotus Healthcare Inc. Ms. Amy Mu (PRC) is a Director of Weihai Lotus and is the company’s Deputy General Manager. The daily management of Weihai Lotus is under the responsibility of Ms. Mu who is capably assisted by a team of very experienced locally appointed professionals. Ms. Mu has been with the Company since its formation and has many years of senior management experience in the China pharmaceutical market and previously held senior positions with Xian Janssen.

Weihai Lotus has fully equipped chemical analysis and instrument analysis laboratories which are used in ensuring quality standards. There are also a number of product development laboratories equipped with pilot plant equipment for the scale up of products.
